Offer Description

This project falls within the context of motor and functional rehabilitation following work-related injuries. Specifically, by exploiting the principles of action observation-based therapy (AOT), the aim of the project is the development of individualized treatments that, together with traditional therapy, speed up patients' recovery. To maximize the effects of AOT, it is necessary to optimize the visual stimuli to be observed with the possibility of guiding the rehabilitation pathway by administering stimuli of incremental difficulty. The project, therefore, aims to define "kinematic morphing" algorithms for a specific rehabilitation path adapted to the patient's residual motor skills by generating intermediate kinematics compatible with the subject's body biomechanics.
