Description

The laboratory of X-ray micro and nano computed tomography of CEITEC BUT (CTlab) is seeking applicant for a scientific position to work on research projects in the field of X-ray computed tomography and material characterization.

Expectations:

• Ability to carry out the research projects independently, interpret data, and write manuscripts.
• Excellent team working skills, self-motivation, initiative and persistence.
• Act as a source of information and advice to other members of the group on scientific protocols and experimental techniques.

Requirements:

We are looking for a motivated postdoctoral researcher after the completion of his/her PhD. The applicant must have:

• A proven track record in scientific research, evidenced by peer-reviewed publications.
• Expertise on Environmental risk assessment and microplastic detection using different advanced techniques.
• Educational chemical background in materials science/chemistry/physics or related discipline required.
• Technical thinking.
• Experience with image processing.
• Driving license B.
• Good communication skills and written and spoken English are required.
