Postgraduate Research Associate (project employment) / Reference Code 87

The Department of Economics and Social Sciences, Institute of Forest, Environmental and Natural Ressource Policy is currently seeking a Postgraduate Research Associate (project employment).

Extent of employment:         30 hours per week

Duration of employment:      from now on, limited for a maximum of 1.5 years

Workplace: 1180 Vienna, Feistmantelstraße 4

Gross monthly salary and pay grade in terms of collective agreement for university staff (payable 14 times per year): B1, € 2.684,10

Responsibilities:

• Scientific implementation of the Austrian Waldfonds project HOLGER "Regulatory frame and policy support to increase the use of wood in construction"
• Contributions to publication work in the frame of projects
• Support of data collection and analysis in various projects in the framework of EFI FPRN (Forest Policy Research Network)
• Support in the office and network management of EFI FPRN

Required skills and qualifications:

• Diplom degree in forest sciences, environmental and bioresources management or other equivalent university degree
• Language skills: German, English
• Interest in social sciences

Desired skills and qualifications:

• Standard IT skills
