Offer Description
The Department of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology at Jagiellonian University is looking for an experienced professional to organize the activities and run the Proteomics Analysis Laboratory. The establishment of the Laboratory functioning on a "core facility" basis is part of the project entitled "Formation of an Omics and Structural Research Center" implemented at Jagiellonian University within the framework of the "Excellence Initiative - Research University" program.
Planned period of employment - 29 months
Anticipated start date - September 1, 2024.

Requirements for Candidates:
possession of (at least) a master's degree or a master's degree in engineering
predisposition to laboratory work
proven experience working in a proteomics laboratory, including operation of specialized equipment for high-throughput proteomic analysis.
Additional strengths:
co-authorship in scientific publications where the candidate's scientific contributions included proteomics research
very good knowledge of the English language
self-reliance, commitment, reliability, accuracy and punctuality in the execution of tasks
interpersonal skills and communication skills.
The person hired will be responsible for, among other things:
conducting contract research
data analysis
substantive support in the design of experiments
ensuring efficient operation of the apparatus
current supply of the Laboratory with reagents and materials necessary for research.

Course of the competition procedure:
