Graduate Teaching Assistant (must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree) for a full-time, four-year position at the Institute of Computational Perception

Job Duties:

  • Independent teaching and supervision of students, specifically in the context of the mandatory classes offered by the institute in the Artificial Intelligence curriculum (AI, Machine Learning & Pattern Classification, Probabilistic Models)
  • Independent and collaborative research in the fields of computational (audio) perception and Music Information Research (MIR)
  • Publishing in appropriate scientific media
  • Contributions to the administration of the institute

Your Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate must hold a Diploma/Master's degree (completed or close to completion) in computer science or Artificial Intelligence
  • Extensive knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, and Probabilistic Models, documented by corresponding university courses taken
  • Theoretical and practical research experience in the fields of deep learning for acoustic perception and/or Music Information Research (MIR)
  • Experience with software frameworks for deep neural networks and deep learning
  • Interest in didactic tasks
  • Excellent command of the English language, spoken and written (level C1 or better). Knowledge of German language desirable but not mandatory
