The Institute Competence Centre Photovoltaics Berlin (PVcomB) is looking for

PostDoc (f/m/d) Encapsulation of Perovskite and Tandem-Perovskite-Silicon Solar Cells and Modules - Refining, Testing, Characterization

Your Tasks

  • You encapsulate solar cell and module (labsize) samples.
  • You plan and conduct experiments following testing protocols and your own research ideas.
  • You evaluate experiments and present and publish results.
  • You acquire and analyse indoor and outdoor stability data (mainly with respect to encapsulation).
  • You contribute to projects.

Your Profile

  • Completed doctoral degree in chemistry or material science or closly related disciplines
  • Ability to work safely in the lab environment
  • Background in solar cell encapsulation and basic knowledge on working principle of solar cells
  • Ability to work in a structured manner with perseverence and reporting skills verbally and written in English
  • Mobility (willingness to travel to project meetings and conferences), high level of intercultural competence and ability to work as part of a team
