Offer Description

We are looking for a highly motivated PhD candidate interested in bioorganic chemistry and interdisciplinary research at the chemistry/biochemistry interface. The project especially involves development of ligation methods for chemical protein synthesis and scientific services in research within the project “Catalytic and proximity-accelerated NCL”.

Requirements: Completed university degree (master or equivalent) in the field of (bio)organic chemistry with preferably very good grades, theoretical and practical experience in solid-phase peptide synthesis are desirable; openness to interdisciplinary research projects in the field of natural sciences and high motivation for independent scientific work; very good communication and teamwork skills; very good written and spoken English skills.
