Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration University of Warsaw with the consent of the Rector of the University of Warsaw announces a competition for the post of assistant professor Department of European Low research and teaching group discipline – legal sciences 1 full-time (fixed-term)

Skills/Qualifications

The candidate shall meet the following conditions:

  1. hold a LLD degree with distinction in European law;
  2. demonstrate a proven academic output in the scope of European Union law, with particular consideration of EU antidiscrimination law;
  3. have excellent command of Polish and command of at least two foreign languages confirmed by certificates;
  4. have at least one year of experience in regular selfstanding teaching of EU law at academic level;
  5. adhere to the principles of scientific ethics.
Specific Requirements

Basic Responsibilities: carrying out research in the field of European Union law, with particular emphasis on the EU antidiscrimination law; carrying out research regarding Polish law in the context of regulations of European Union law; carrying out research on foreign law in the scope necessary to carry out research concerning European Union law,

Teaching:  teaching activity in the field of European Union law – institutional and substantive law of the EU

Organizational:  carrying out administrative and organizational tasks related to research and teaching at the Department of European Law.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates should submit the following documents:

- plan for further research activities,

- list of professional, scientific and teaching achievements,

The candidate should meet the conditions set out in Art. 113 of the Act.

The competition is the first stage defined by the University of Warsaw Statute of the procedure of recruiting an academic teacher, and its positive decision is the basis for further proceedings.

 

The deadline for submitting documents is 14/05/2024r.

The contest will be settled by    30/06/2024r
