Offer Description
Predikcia životnosti húževnatých ocelí na základe minimalizácie rozptylu dát z únavovej skúšky
Life prediction of ductile steels based on the minimization of the variance of fatigue test data
Supervisor: prof. Ing. Jan Valíček, Ph.D.
Workplace: Faculty of Engineering
Field of study: Engineering
Study program: Production technologies
Form of Study: external
Hlavné myšlienky (tézy) navrhovanej témy: V dizertačnej práci bude vykonané testovanie minimálne 33 vzoriek vybranej húževnatej ocele (tj. merania so štatisticky vypovedacou hodnotou) podrobených únavovej skúške. Získané výsledky merania budú deklarované graficky, ďalej budú interpretované najmä z hľadiska rozptylov hodnôt medze klzu a medze pevnosti. Hlavnými cieľmi práce budú: spresnenie únavovej krivky minimalizovaním rozptylu dát, nájdenie aproximačného trendu funkčnej závislosti v rámci plasticity a následne výrazné zníženie počtu testovaných vzoriek a testovacieho času, tj. aj objemu únavových dát. Krivka získaná novou metódou bude aplikovaná za účelom predikcie životnosti vybranej ocele, prípadne skupiny húževnatých ocelí, a to metódou konečných prvkov. Neoddeliteľnou súčasťou práce bude verifikácia predikovaných a meraných výsledkov. |
Main ideas of the proposed dissertation topic: The dissertation work involves the testing of at least 33 samples of selected tough steel (i.e. measurements that are statistically significant) subjected to a fatigue test. Measurement results will be presented graphically, and their interpretation will be based on variances of yield strength and strength values. A key objective of the research is the refinement of fatigue curves by minimizing the dispersion of data, finding the approximate trend of functional dependence in plasticity, as well as significantly reducing the number of tested samples and testing time, thereby reducing the amount of fatigue data. This new method will be applied to the prediction of the service life of the steel, or a group of tough steels, using the finite element method. Verification of predicted and measured results will be an integral part of the research work. |
