INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER TECHNICIAN

THE MÁLAGA BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE AND NANOMEDICINE PLATFORM NEEDS TO HIRE A PROFESSIONAL WITH THE FOLLOWING PROFILE: INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER TECHNICIAN.

Principal investigator: Fernando A. Rodríguez de Fonseca.

Venue: IBIMA Innovation and Technology Transfer Unit BIONAND Platform.

Project/research line: IBIMA Innovation Unit BIONAND Platform. Promotion of technological valorization, transfer of knowledge and consolidation of the industrial fabric – PT23/00082. ISCIII Platform for Dynamization and Innovation of the industrial capabilities of the SNS and its effective transfer to the productive sector (ITEMAS).

Functions to develop:

• Participate in activities to promote innovative culture in the scope of action of IBIMA BIONAND Platform (dissemination activities, conferences,...). 
• Promote the development of innovation and technological development projects based on information and communication systems (ICT), or with their application, in digital health and biomedical informatics.
• Develop work procedure protocols for the development of R&D&I projects in ICT, or with their application, to comply with the necessary technical and security requirements, such as compliance with applicable regulations on the protection of personal data.
• Preparation of protocols, work procedures or facilitating mechanisms for the implementation and/or transfer of new technology and innovation in ICT developed at the Institute.
• Advise on the approach and development of R&D&i projects in biomedicine and/or health within the scope of IBIMA BIONAND Platform to ensure compliance with technical and security requirements, such as compliance with applicable data protection regulations personal.
• Collaborate and reinforce the implementation of actions with key actors in the environment, promoting the generation of synergies, public-private collaboration and improvement of knowledge transfer rates and R&D&I results.
• Promote the establishment of agreements with technology companies for the development of projects in public-private collaboration.
• Participate in events and forums specialized in technological innovation and/or for the creation of alliances with entities and companies for the development of R&D&i initiatives and projects.
• Participate in the work groups and activities of the ITEMAS platform.
• Any other tasks that may be entrusted to it within the scope of its competence.

Minimum requirements :

• Bachelor's degree or university graduate with a degree of at least 300 ECTS credits or graduate with a university master's degree with at least 300 ECTS credits, in Computer Engineering.
• Professional experience of at least 5 years in information and communication technology (ICT) project management.

Valuable Requirements :

• Specialized training in applied computing, computer security and risk management and personal data protection regulations: 1 point for each specialization course, up to a maximum of 4 points.
• Knowledge and management of information and communication systems of the Public Health System of Andalusia (SSPA): 1.5 points.
• Knowledge and demonstrable experience in the field of biomedical research and/or health sector: 1.5 points. 

The aforementioned requirements must be accredited by means of a certificate from a competent body or a responsible declaration.

Contract details :

• Contracting modality: Contract for scientific-technical activities. (art. 23 bis of the Science and Technology Law Law 14/2011)
• Category: Technician (LEVEL 3 MECES: MASTER)
• Location: IBIMA BIONAND Platform.
• Gross annual remuneration: €38,115.98 gross per year, plus a variable of €1,863 gross per year, depending on achievement of objectives.
• Time: Full time (35 hours per week).
• Estimated duration: 30 months – The contract is linked to the duration of the project / activity / financing.

Selection process :

• Based on the points obtained in the merit assessment, at least the three best candidates will be selected to carry out a personal interview in which communication skills, aptitude for work and skills to fulfill the established functions will be assessed. , with a maximum of 3 points. Only those candidates who obtain at least 50% of the evaluable merit points will be eligible for the interview phase.
• After the resolution of the position and in the event that the selected candidate resigns from the contract, the hiring table may decide to decide in favor of the next candidate according to the list of scores.
