Offer Description
Investigating the Role of the Microbiome in Chronotype and Diurnal Preference
Are you passionate about unraveling the mysteries of the gut microbiome and its impact on host behavior? Are you eager to contribute to cutting-edge research at the intersection of microbiology, neuroscience, and chronobiology? If so, we invite talented and motivated PhD students and postdoctoral fellows to join our dynamic research team.
Our lab is at the forefront of exploring the intricate relationship between the gut microbiome and chronotype – the behavioral manifestation of an individual's internal circadian rhythms. We have recently secured funding from the ISF (Israel Science Foundation) agency to further our investigation into the role of the microbiome in determining chronotype and diurnal preference.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to engage in groundbreaking research that spans molecular biology, genetics, and behavioral neuroscience. You will work in a collaborative and supportive environment where your ideas and contributions are valued. Our lab is committed to fostering the development of aspiring scientists, providing mentorship, training, and resources to help you thrive in your academic journey.
