Tasks to be performed
The objective of this contract is to collaborate in the research that will be carried out within the framework of the above-mentioned project. This research aims to study the ethical, legal, social and economic implications of green algorithms. The recruit will focus his/her work on one or more of the following sub-lines of work: ethical implications of green algorithms, economic and social implications of green algorithms.
Justification of duration
A contract duration of 31 months, until the completion of the project, is proposed and is considered sufficient to complete the research tasks of the project.

Candidate Requirements
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration, Social Sciences or equivalent. The ability and availability to carry out a doctoral thesis and join the CITIC during the period of completion of the thesis will also be an essential requirement.

Criteria and assessment of merits
The following merits will be assessed and scored:
A. Average grade of the bachelor's degree and two relevant postgraduate studies. Maximum 10 points
B. Knowledge of spoken and written English (demonstrable). 2 points per level from A2 to C2. Maximum 10 points.
C. Demonstrable experience through scientific publications or participation in scientific projects in the fields of law, economics and social sciences. Each publication will be valued with up to 3 points if it corresponds to a scientific journal indexed in JCR and with up to 1.5 points if it corresponds to a relevant international conference. Publications at national conferences will be valued with up to 1 point. Participation in R+D projects will be valued up to 1 point depending on the category of the project and the number of participants. Maximum 40 points.
D. Knowledge of green algorithms, sustainable development and economics. It will be assessed on the basis of the creditable hours of training (5 points for each course) and the creditable hours of project work (2 points for each month of work). Maximum 20 points.
E. Personal interview. Maximum 20 points.
Depending on the fulfilment of the requirements and the assessment of merits, an order of priority of the candidates will be established. The person with the highest score will be awarded. With the rest of the applicants and respecting this order of priority, according to merit, a waiting list will be created,exclusively for this position, which will be used for recruitment in the event of resignation, dismissal or leave due to temporary disability of the selected person.

DEADLINE: 10 working days from the day following the publication on the notice board of the UDC e-Office.
