Offer Description
Applications are invited for two funded doctoral positions (4 years), with flexible starting date between September and December 2024. The successful applicants will work with Prof. Dr. Evie Vergauwe in the Working memory, Cognition and Development Lab at the University of Geneva, on a research project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), to study working memory in young adults and children. Desired profile:
- Master’s degree in Psychology or a related discipline
- Experience with experimental psychology research in young adults and/or children
- Background in cognitive psychology and/or cognitive developmental psychology
- Very good research methods knowledge and skills
- Interest in pursuing an academic career
- Very good command of English (written and oral)
- Basic knowledge of French, or willingness to learn some basic French
- Willingness to travel (for conferences and/or international collaborations)
- Team spirit, and strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Programming skills (e.g., R, Psychopy) will be considered an advantage
