Offer Description

5G and 6G networks are designed for providing several different services as high speed Internet, IoT and M2M communications. For enforcing such guaranteed services , slicing techniques need to be developed to ensure isolation between resources allocated to each of these services ; especially at the level of RAN and its time/frequency matrix. It is then important to avoid any resource waste, as well as interferences, for example. The aim is then to design new optimal resource allocation algorithms and mechanisms for extended networks including wire, cellular and LEO satellites networks. On the other hand, 5G and 6G networks are designed with the software defined network concept, with most of its functionnalities implemented as software microservices, following the NFV principle. Resources management thus includes the distribution of microservices on the servers/processors of gNBs that allows optimal and resilient compositions of all microservices for enforcing 5G functionnalities. For this purpose, AI techniques will be massively used for solving these issues, and allowing an autonomous management of the network.

Theoretical solutions will be experimentally assessed. For experiments, a 5G platform, isolated in an anechoic room, is available in order to test all new issued mechanisms and protocols.
