The competition is open to each candidate who meets the requirements set out in the Higher Education and Science Act of July 20th 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668 as amended) and the Statute of University of Wroclaw.
The candidate is expected to have
- Title of master's degree in the field (discipline of the arts) of: spatial management, architecture and urban planning, property management, economy, economics and finance, socio-economic geography and spatial management, socio-economic geography.
- Research experience that allows to teach in the field of spatial management, regional development, employment of analysis methods and presentation of spatial data.
- Scientific publications in the field spatial management, spatial planning, regional development, revitalization, architecture and urban planning, property management, economy, economics and finance.
- Active participation in scientific conferences.
- English qualifications which allow teaching classes in this language.
- Documented participation in courses, professional trainings, internships, projects in the field of: socio-economic geography and spatial management, architecture and urban planning, property management, economy, economics and finance.
- Ability to operate and use GIS (Geographical Information Systems).
- Good knowledge of statistical software (e.g. Statistica, IBM SPSS, etc.) will be also considered.
- Organizational skills useful for planning and execution of tasks related to teaching, conferences, scientific research and field based trainings.
- Other forms of scientific, professional activities (including stipends, awards, grants and fellowships).
- Teaching courses in Polish.
Responsibilities
- Conducting research (independently and in a team).
- Initiating cooperation with socio-economic entities.
Teaching area
- Conducting classes.
- Cooperation with Student Scientific Group for Spatial Management Research.
- Participation in organization of the education process.
Organizational area
- Active participation in projects undertaken by Department of Spatial Management (including the organization of seminars, conferences, thematic meetings, etc.).
