Offer Description

In order to comply with the contractual clauses of the PNRR project with the contract number 760061/23.05.2023, code 148/15.11.2022 with the title „Development of a novel immunomodulatory therapy against cardiac inflammation in myocardial infarction, myocarditis and sepsis”, The Institute of Cellular Biology and Pathology "Nicolae Simionescu" of the Romanian Academy (IBPC "N. Simionescu") announces the opening for competition of the following positions:

• Scientific researcher, post-doctoral student, part-time, fixed-term (April 2024 - June 2026) – 2 positions

- PhD in BIOLOGY, MEDICINE

- Post-doctoral student with a research experience of no more than 8 years, full-time equivalent, since obtaining the title of doctor in the field of BIOLOGY, MEDICINE;

- Higher education: Biology, Medicine, Biotechnology, Biochemistry

- Knowledge of English, at least medium level

- Availability of work with laboratory animals

- Promotion note - at least 8

Candidates will submit all registration documents to the Human Resources Office.

Additional Information

Eligibility criteria

Documents required:

a) registration form addressed to the Director of the Institute,

b) curriculum vitae, signed by the candidate, Europass model,

c) copy of the identity document,

d) certified copies of the baccalaureate diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree or equivalent, accompanied by the transcript,

e) certificate attesting the length of service;

f) criminal record or an affidavit that states no criminal record,

g) medical certificate attesting the corresponding health status issued no later than 6 months prior to the competition by the candidate's family doctor or by the competent health units, in original.

Selection process

The contest will take place according to the following calendar:

 

-05.04.2024 - publication of the announcement;

-08.04.2024 -10.04.2024 – submission of applications;

-11.04.2024 - selection of files, display of selection of files at 10.00, submission of appeals until 13.00 and display of the result of appeals until 16.00;

-12.04.2024 - interview test at 14.00, displaying the results of the interview test until 16.00

-15.04.2024 - filing appeals of the interview test until 10.00 and displaying the results of solving appeals until 13.00 and displaying the final results.

 

The competition files are received until 10.04.2024, 15.00.

 

Candidates who have obtained at least the grade 8, according to Law 319/2003 on the Status of Research and Development Personnel, are admitted.

 

Access to the institution and to the competition hall will be based on the original identity card.
