Offer Description
The Research Group in Urology is a multidisciplinary group formed by clinical specialists in Urology, Oncology, Pathology and Basic Researchers with extensive experience in the biology of prostate, renal, and bladder cancer. The collaboration between clinicians and basic researchers allows for an easier identification of unresolved issues in the current treatments/management of patients with urologic diseases. This approach permits the application of strategies that starting from specific clinical aspects study the molecular mechanisms at the base of disease progression. A deeper understanding of the pathways involved in the progression of these cancers is necessary to advance in the development of preventive and curative treatment strategies.
Contract linked to the project “TARTAGLIA: Red Federada de Inteligencia Artificial para acelerar la Investigación Sanitaria”. Funding by Ministerio de Asuntos Económicos y Transformación Digital within NextGeneration funds.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Give support to the tasks need it in the context of the Tartaglia project to fulfill the aims.
- Collaborate in the project Tartaglia aim to accurately discriminate between indolent and aggressive prostate cancer

Education and qualifications
Required:
- PhD in the area of biomedical sciences.
- Good communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English.

- Publication as co-author in a peer reviewed journal or demonstrated scientific background.
- Experience in the field of molecular and cancer biology.
A degree of independence and Team-work abilities

Labour conditions
- Full-time position: 40h/week.

- Gross annual salary: 24.785,40 euros (salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
