Job title: Aid for the consolidation and structuring of competitive research units and other promotion actions in the universities of the Galician University System (SUG). Call 2021.
Research line / Scientific-technical services: Asphalt mixtures made with wastes
Tasks to be performed
The work to be performed will consist in the preparation and performance of laboratory tests typical of road engineering, in particular those oriented to the design and investigation of bituminous mixtures and other materials for road pavements or other transport infrastructures. Likewise, he/she will collaborate in the interpretation and analysis of the data obtained in the tests and in the preparation of the final reports.
The tasks will be carried out in the Laboratory of Roads of the E.T.S.I. de Caminos, Canales y Puertos of the Universidade da Coruña during the working day, as well as in the Laboratory of Roads and Geotechnics of the CITEEC.
The working hours will be Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; Friday from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm

Additional Information
Demonstrable work experience in the execution of dynamic testing of bituminous mixtures with industrial wastes: resilient modulus, cyclic compression test and fatigue test. Each full month of experience will be valued with 1 point. Each week will be valued at 0.25 points. Fractions of less than one week will not be taken into account. No minimum score is required in this section. The maximum score for this merit will be 10 points. (Min 0 - max 10 points).
- To have taken and passed the subject "Roads" of the Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or the subjects "Roads and Airports" or "Roads and Railways" of the Degree in Public Works Engineering. Each of the subjects will be valued with 5 points. No minimum score is required in this section. The maximum score for this merit will be 5 points. (Min 0 - max 5 points).
- Personal interview in which motivation and interest in the project to be developed will be assessed. The interview will be carried out with the 3 candidates who obtain a higher score in the sum of the remaining criteria (min 1- max 5 points).
