Offer Description
The post-doctoral candidate will participate in the construction of a second-generation experiment based on arrays of interacting Rydberg atoms, and conduct quantum simulation experiments with it. He/she will supervise a team of 2 PhD students in collaboration with the PI's of the project.

This project is part of the ERC ATARAXIA project, which aims to study the N-body problem experimentally on model systems based on trapped cold atoms.
The candidate will work in the Quantum Optics - Atoms team of the Charles Fabry laboratory at the Institut d'Optique, which consists of 3 CNRS researchers and a dozen PhD students, post-docs and trainees.

Additional Information
Very good knowledge of experimental atomic physics, including laser cooling and trapping, and laser-cooled atoms manipulation techniques. Fundamentals of N-body physics.
