Offer Description

Our laboratory investigates brain development and plasticity. This project in particular will tackle the roles and mechanisms of atypical glutamate receptors of the delta family in the formation of cortical circuits, using mouse genetic models.

- Design, perform and interpret biology experiments.
- Experimentation with rodents.
- Bibliographic monitoring and data compilation.
- Data analysis and maintenance of laboratory notebooks.
- Data presentation and regular communication with the research team.
- Scientific communication (writing scientific publications, participating in conferences, etc.).

The project will be conducted within the "Synapse Development and Plasticity" team at the Institute of Biology of the Ecole Normale Supérieure.

Additional Information

Eligibility criteria

- Strong motivation, dynamism, autonomy, and teamwork spirit.
- Molecular biology, fluorescence microscopy, basic electrophysiology concepts.
- Data analysis.
- Proficiency in written and oral English communication.
- The candidate must have previous experience in cellular and molecular neurobiology and murine models, as well as a good understanding of synapse biology.
