Teaching Assistant position for the scientific field of natural sciences, the scientific field of chemistry, for a certain period of time until the return of the temporarily absent employee
Conditions:
- completion of the relevant university degree
Additional criteria:
- previous recognitions, prizes, etc. for outstanding academic achievements
- involvement in scientific research
- experience in teaching chemistry in university degree programmes

Candidates applying for the competition must, in addition to the conditions set out in the competition, also meet the general conditions set out in the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activities (Official Gazette 119/2022). Together with the hand signed application for the competition, applicants must enclose the following: CV, copy of final diploma, decision on recognition of foreign higher education degree for applicants who obtained the degree abroad, transcript of grades with average grade, proof of citizenship, foreign citizens must also attach proof of knowledge of Croatian language (C2 advanced level).
Applicants who invoke the right of priority in recruitment under special regulations are obliged to assert this right in the application for the competition and have priority over other applicants only under the same conditions set by the competition and on the basis of a proper, complete and timely application for the competition. Applicants who invoke the right of priority in employment under Articles 102 and 103 of the Act on Croatian Veterans of the Homeland War and their Family Members (Official Gazette No. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21, 156/23) must, in addition to proof of fulfillment of the required conditions, attach all necessary evidence from Article 103, paragraph 1, which is available at the link of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843.

By submitting an application for the tender, applicants expressly agree that PMF, as the administrator of the collection of personal data, may collect, use and further process the data for the purpose of conducting the tender procedure in accordance with the provisions of the Act on the Protection of Personal Data.
Candidates who meet the formal conditions of the selection procedure may be tested and/or interviewed for knowledge and skills required to perform the duties of the position. All information about the tests will be published on the official website of the Faculty of Science in Split https://www.pmfst.unist.hr/ at least five days before the event. If the applicant does not participate in the verification, it will be considered that he/she has withdrawn his/her application for the competition. Applicants will be notified of the place and time of the examination by email to the email address they provided in their application. Applicants of both genders are equally eligible to participate in the selection procedure.
Applications must be submitted in electronic form to the e-mail address natjecaj-posao@pmfst.hr within 30 days of the announcement of the call for applications in the Official Gazette. A complete application is one that includes all attachments and is signed by hand. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered and candidates with incomplete applications will not be invited to complete their application.
Applicants will be informed of the results of the selection procedure within the statutory deadline.
