Offer Description

The group “Stem Cells and Translational Neurology” led by Dr.  Vivian Capilla González at the CABIMER in Sevilla (Spain) is interested in hosting a Marie Curie Fellowship. The Marie Skłodowska-Curie project offered will be supervised by Dr. Vivian Capilla. Her research focuses on: 

• Study of the dynamic properties of stem cells in the context of neurological disorders.

• Decoding the mechanisms driving the therapeutic actions of stem cell.

• Development of new advanced therapies and patient-derived models.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE LEVEL

  • Required education level: PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant scientific area
  • Main research field: Biomedicine
  • Sub research field: Neuroscience, Stem Cells, Oncology
  • Language: English , Spanish
  • Skills:
    • Experience with mouse models and cell cultures.

At the deadline for the submission of proposals (11 September, 2024), researchers:

  • shall be in possession of a doctoral degree
  • must have a maximum of eight years of experience in research, from the date of the award of their PhD degree, years of experience outside research and career breaks will not count towards the above maximum, nor will years of experience in research in third countries, for nationals or long-term residents of EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries who wish to reintegrate to Europe (click for more information)
  • must not have resided or carried out their main activities in the country of Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the above mentioned deadline
