Applications are invited from those who fulfil the statutory requirements specified in the Higher Education Act from 20th July 2018 (Dz. U. z 2018 r., poz. 1668) and the statutes of the University of Wroclaw.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences.
- Documented postdoctoral training or participated in postdoctoral training ending before October 1, 2024.
- Documented experience (publications, internships) in dielectric research.
- Documented experience (publications, internships) in mineral research.
- Documented experience (publications, internships) in computational chemistry.
- Experience in teaching physical chemistry.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English sufficient for conducting classes, writing publications, and grant proposals.
- Documented experience in organizing scientific conferences.
- Documented international collaboration (publications, internships).
Duties
Teaching Area
- Conducting teaching activities, especially in physical chemistry (laboratory, seminars).
- Supervision of master's and diploma students.
- Participation in teaching and organizational activities for students interested in chemistry.
Research Area
- Conducting research on clay minerals and their intercalates using dielectric methods.
- Conducting research on clay minerals and their intercalates using computational chemistry methods.
- Involvement in the patenting procedure of results with potential applications.
- Systematic publication of obtained results.
- Developmental for equipment of dielectric research.
- Applying for financial resources for research.
- Involvement in organizing scientific conferences.

- Self-presentation (information about scientific, teaching, organizational, and other achievements).
- List of scientific publications in the period no longer than the last 10 years.
- Electronic versions of two of the most important publications which the applicant considers to be representative of his/her scientific output, or an explanation of their absence.
- An application for employment addressed to the Rector.
- A statement in connection with Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018. The Law on Higher Education and Science (download Declaration – Article 113).
