Offer Description
The features of LTC systems create incentives or disincentives for informal care and may lead to immediate unmet needs and differential health outcomes over the long-run. In view of the widely heterogenous responses to address the challenges of increasing LTC demand, it is critical to perform an evaluation of implemented policies across different countries. The Gateway to Global Aging data, a platform for population panel survey data on aging around the world, is in the process of collecting and harmonizing institutional information on LTC policies across several countries to complement the microdata already harmonized and available on the portal www.g2aging.org. The researcher will be in charge of collecting data on LTC policies across different European countries, formatting them into a common template and cooperate with the Gateway team at University of Southern California to make them available to the research community through the Gateway portal
