1. General information about employment conditions:
a. Position – research assistant
b. Type of employment: full-time employment contract
c. Workplace: Screening Laboratory IBM PAS
2. The scope of tasks:
Performance of research tasks within the framework of the statutory activity. Synthesis and analysis of chemical compounds modified with boron clusters with potential anticancer and antibacterial activity, examining their physicochemical properties, participation in research planning and data analysis, participation in writing manuscripts, active participation in research group seminars, institute seminars, conference organizing committee and conferences.

a. Education: higher education in chemistry (Master of Science in chemistry).
b. Professional experience: experience in organic synthesis, preferably in bioorganic chemistry, knowledge of experimental techniques used in organic synthesis, knowledge of instrumental analysis methods to analyze chemical compounds, planning and conducting organic synthesis, analysis, and elaboration of obtained results.
c. Professional skills: the ability to search information from chemical literature, ability to use chemical software, ability to present results in public, organizational skills, fluency in spoken and written English
d. Personal predispositions: creativity in solving research problems, responsibility, ability to work in a team, enthusiasm, high motivation to expand knowledge, communicativeness.

After initial verification and evaluation of the documents, selected candidates will be invited for an interview, as a result of which a person recommended for employment on the above-mentioned position will be chosen.
Interviews are scheduled for May 14th, 2024.
On May 15th, 2024, the results of the competition will be announced. The employment application will then be forwarded to the Institute's HR Department for further administrative action regarding the hiring of the successful candidate.
