Senior Lecturer (must hold a Diploma/Master) for a Full-time or Part-time, temporary position at the Department for the Theory of Society and Social Analyses to 09/30/2025

Job Duties:
- Responsible preparation and implementation of courses in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in Sociology with a focus on: introduction to sociology, sociological theory, empirical student research and specification in the fields of care and work
- Supervision of the theses of undergraduate and graduate students (mainly Bachelor, occasionally Master)
- Participation in team and institute meetings
- Collaboration concerning administrative tasks and academic events
Your Qualifications:
- The successful candidate must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree in sociology or social sciences
- Experienced in university teaching, research and self-administration
- Knowledge of sociological theory, qualitative methods of social research, current research in the fields of work and care
- Strong proficiency in German (level C1) and proficiency in English (level B2)
- Experience with the organisation of scientific events
