SWPS University is a non-public university conducting research and offering practical and academic studies in Warsaw, Wrocław, Sopot, Poznań, Katowice and Kraków. The University's teaching offer includes courses in social sciences, humanities, but also design and graphics.

Skills/Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree or habilitation degree in the field of Cultural and Religious Studies (Japan or Korea) (obtained no later than September 30, 2024). Candidates at the last stages of the doctoral process are accepted (degree to be obtained no later than June 30, 2025), in which case the employment will be as an assistant until receiving the doctoral degree;
  • Teaching experience of more than 1 year;
  • Experience in actively participating in international scientific conferences;
  • Scientific achievements in the area of research on Japanese or Korean culture, 
  • Proficiency in Polish;
  • Proficiency in English;
  • Proficiency in Japanese or Korean language.

Nice to have:

  • Experience gained while working in the business area
  • at least a 6-month educational-scientific stay in an East Asian country

  • Salary in the range of PLN 6.300 - 8.300 gross; (If the employment as an Assistant - the salary will be in the range of PLN 4,600 - PLN 5,700 gross)

  • CV with a list of scientific, didactic and organisational achievements (with direct reference to the above-mentioned qualification criteria).
  • A scan of the document confirming the attainment of a doctoral degree (or a statement regarding the planned date of obtaining it) or a post-doctoral degree (habilitation).
