TEOF, UNIVERSITY TEACHER IN THE FIELD OF MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPY

 Requirements

• Doctor of Science (PhD) (marital and family therapy, psychology etc.)
• Valid habilitation academic title of the University of Ljubljana: Assistant professor /Associate professor/Full Professor in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy or an academic title of another institution, under the condition that this title can be recognized in the process of recognizing at the University of Ljubljana or the title of guest professor at the University of Ljubljana or the fulfilment of the conditions for obtaining the “habilitation” of university teacher (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy. In this case, together with the application, it is necessary to submit proofs of compliance with the quantitative and qualitative criteria for the election to the academic title or for the recognition of the title in accordance with the criteria. The candidate must also enclose a statement that he/she agrees that in the event of a positive decision of the selection board, his/her application is also considered as an application for his/her election to the title or for recognition of the title. The title must be obtained before the signing of the employment contract.
• productive knowledge of the Slovenian language at B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). If the selected candidate fails to meet this condition at the time of the job placement, he must complete it not later than within three years from the date of employment. 
• Rhetorical and pedagogic skills, initiative, organizational skills, teamwork

  Desired additional knowledge or education:

• PhD in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Experience in research and teaching of scientific and research methods in the field of marriage, family, and interpersonal relationships.
• Research and teaching experience in crisis situations and interventions in family work.
• Research and teaching experience in marriage and family therapeutic support in coping with chronic illness, palliative care, and long-term family stress.
• Qualifications for conducting relational family therapy.
• Experience of researching and teaching the use of quantitative, qualitative and mixed research methods in the field of marriage, family and interpersonal relationships using Excel, Jamovi and QDA Miner.
