Offer Description
The Dean of the Jazz and Stage Department announces an Open Competition for the position Assistant, for whom the UMFC will be the first place of employment to teach the following subjects: bass guitar playing, improvisation, conducting music ensembles.

Candidates entering the competition shall be obliged to:
1. Meet the requirements specified in Article 113 and 114, 115 of the Act of 20.07.2018 "Law on Higher Education and Science ("Journal of Laws of 2018. item 1668)
2. Hold a Master's diploma second degree or equivalent in Music in the artistic discipline
3. Have achievements and attainments in artistic activity
4. Have teaching experience in a higher education institution in in the above-mentioned subject area
Required documents:
1. Application for participation in the Competition addressed to the Rector of UMFC
3. Certified copy of Master's diploma in Music arts or equivalent
4. Documents certifying artistic achievements
5. Personal questionnaire (in compliance with the UMFC's specimen)
6. Curriculum vitae
7. Declaration of permission to have one's personal data (included in the submitted documents in connection with the participation in the Competition) processed (in compliance with the UMFC's specimen)
8. Certificate of clear criminal record of intentional or fiscal offence (in compliance with the UMFC's specimen)

- Respect the weekly working hours of academic teachers
- Have a knowledge of the Statutes, Work and Study Regulations of the UMFC to the level that allows proper functioning within the structures of the University
Candidates shall be obliged to:
1. Perform a presentation before a Committee (aprox. 20 minutes solo or with other instrument)
2. Conducting a teaching lesson with a student indicated by UMFC
3. Undergo an interview

Documents should be submitted by 23.04.2024 to the Dean's Office of the Department of Jazz and Stage Music, room 305, UMFC building, 2 Okólnik Street, Warsaw.
The competition will be resolved on 30.04.2024 by a selection committee established for this purpose
Positive results of the Competition shall not guarantee employment at the position of assistant
