Offer Description

This doctoral project investigates the integration of regulatory frameworks in the design and deployment of sociotechnical systems, with a particular focus on digital archives. Through a multidisciplinary approach, the PhD candidate will explore how public policies and regulatory standards influence the development and management of digital systems to preserve and disseminate documentary heritage. The work will include the analysis of specific cases where regulation has played a crucial role in implementing innovative technological solutions and assessing successes and challenges encountered. The candidate will develop methodologies for effectively integrating regulatory requirements from the early stages of system design, proposing models that heritage institutions could adopt. This project will contribute to the information systems literature by highlighting the importance of regulation as a driver of innovation and sustainability in digital archives.
