Offer Description
A candidate for post doctoral fellow position at the Institute of Experimental Physics of the University of Gdańsk is subject to the following requirements:
- The candidate should have a PhD in physical sciences and meet the conditions provided for in the Act for persons employed as post doctoral fellow.
- Have qualifications and documented experience in teaching at the level of the basic course of full-time, university studies in the field of physics or medical physics.
- The candidate's advantage will be knowledge and documented scientific achievements for the last 5 years in the field of:
- in-depth knowledge of the principles of operation of equipment in the field of physics and/or medical physics,
- characterization and production of optical materials and/or molecular systems important for basic and generally applied research in physical, biological and medical sciences,
- physical chemistry of surfaces, colloids, and interfacial processes,
- measurement methodology in nuclear and medical physics and radiation physics,
- general biophysics in the field of environmental systems,
- knowledge of popular programming languages.
4. It is expected that the candidate is fluent in both Polish and English at a level that guarantees conducting classes with students.
5. In the case of people whose native language is not Polish, it is required to present a certificate of its knowledge sufficient to conduct classes with students.
6. The candidate's advantage will be managing or participating in research projects financed from external sources. Involvement in preparing scientific projects and searching for sources of financing (submitting applications for scientific and research and development grants) is expected.
