Offer Description
At the CNRS, the Pprime Institute, based at the Futuroscope site, is recruiting a post-doctoral researcher as part of the structuring action "Robot motion with physical interactions and social adaptation” structuring action of the Priority Research Programmes and Equipment (PEPR) O2R "Organic Robotics" program.
The aim is to study the mechanisms by which the human operator takes into account the actions of the robotic agent, in order to achieve real coordination between the two agents in a shared environment. In this context, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating empirical studies, processing and analyzing data, participating in the writing of scientific articles or reports, and other related tasks.
The aim is to shed light on the theory of co-representation as formulated by Sebanz et al., 2003, 2005, and to work on the development of a new experimental paradigm for kinematic analysis in order to study co-representation capabilities on more ecological tasks. The project also aims to investigate the predictive capacity of a robotic agent's actions and the factors that can modulate this phenomenon in order to optimize Human-Robot coordination in a context of industrial joint action and thus improve operator safety and comfort.

Within the RoBioSS team, recruitment will focus on a cognitive approach to human-robot interactions in a joint task situation.
