The Faculty of Science is searching for a high-caliber candidate to join it for the following tenure-track/tenured senior academic position:

Chair Professor/Professor (23240430)

The suitable candidate should be a PhD holder in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or a related field who has made substantial and active engagements in academic teaching and sponsored research programmes.  The appointee is expected to be a scholar of international repute in his/her field of research, and should possess the qualities and experience to perform as an academic leader in teaching and research.  Strong track records of research in analytical science associated with biological, environmental or pharmaceutical chemistry will be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be appointed as Chair Professor or Professor, and may hold a concurrent appointment in a research center or institute.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
