Offer Description
The Centre for Medical Ethics (CME) works with medical and healthcare ethics in teaching, research and dissemination. This entails everything from concrete ethical dilemmas regarding single patients, to research ethics and theoretical ethics and philosophy.
The position is connected to the EDCTP 3 RER-CTO project, AccessAfrica 2 project and the NFR project, Pandemic Ethics, coordinated by Dr. Cynthia Wangamati & Prof. Rosemarie Bernabe respectively. The position requires working with international consortia and a close collaboration with the research ethics group in the Centre for Medical Ethics.
Please note that the need for the position is directly related to project work with limited funding. When the external financing for the position ceases, it will therefore be necessary to consider whether there will be a termination process due to the organization's circumstances or finding other suitable employment within UiO may be relevant. In the latter case, there may be some changes to the job duties as agreed upon.
