Offer Description

Your responsibilities

Supervise civil engineering works with a focus on Sanitation Network Maintenance:

  • Handling tickets with requesters;
  • Creating maintenance work orders (ODM) and service orders (OSVC);
  • Measurement checks before validation of invoices for payment;
  • Managing ODM via INFOR;
  • Monitoring activity;
  • Providing activity reports to the CERN Contract Supervisor (Weekly Meetings).

Skills and/or knowledge

  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Autonomy and flexibility;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Analytical and writing skills;
  • Knowledge of computer tools (Excel, INFOR EAM);
  • Reading plans and analyzing technical documentation;
  • Understanding of the structural elements of stormwater and wastewater networks;
  • Knowledge of oil separators and septic tanks;
  • Fluent in French, the ability to work in English would be an advantage.

This position requires:

  • Work in Radiation Areas.
  • Interventions in underground installations.
  • A valid driving licence.

 

What we offer

  • A monthly stipend ranging between 5119 and 5631 Swiss Francs (net of tax).

  • Depending on your individual circumstances: installation grant; family, child and infant allowances; payment of travel expenses at the beginning and end of contract.
  • 30 days of paid leave per year.

Eligibility criteria
  • You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
  • By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Civil engineering (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is either a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
  • Applicants without University degree are not eligible.
  • Applicants with a PhD are not eligible.
