Offer Description
Teaching: teaching courses within the SSD BIO09 in Degree courses of which BIGEA is reference department at the Campus of Ravenna. Research: focused on the study of physiological responses of marine animals to environmental stress factors such as reduction in pH, variation in osmolarity and temperature, emerging contaminants acting as neuro-endocrine disruptors. In particular, the RTT will evaluate in control conditions and after exposure to environmental factors: monoaminergic modulation of functions in tissues of molluscs and fish; variation in levels; expression of receptors and other components of monoamine function; elements of signal transduction; modulation of cellular/molecular and organismal parameters. Some answers will be taken into consideration for more applied activities regarding the environment/health relationship. Third mission: valorization the research results and knowledge of the SSD BIO09 towards the Society
