Study of the OWASP Mobile approach for structured metadata extraction
From the Privacy Engineering Research Group of the University of Valladolid we offer a contract for a Research Fellow to work in the framework of the strategic cybersecurity project entitled "App-PI (App Privacy Impact): An ecosystem for the evaluation of the impact of apps for mobile devices on the privacy and security of their users".
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE JOB.
DURATION:
May 2024- December 2025.
REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate or equivalent in Computer Science, Telecommunications or Telematics + Master's degree.
MERITS TO BE ASSESSED:
1.- Postgraduate degree in Cybersecurity and Data Protection or equivalent.
2.- Experience in data design and management.
3.- Experience in OWASP audits.
TASKS:
- Analysis of the OWASP Mobile standard and collaboration in the construction of structured data that will feed an ontology on Privacy and Security that will gather the OWASP Mobile knowledge.
- Collaboration in the proposal of OWASP Mobile-inspired KPIs on the impact of mobile apps on the privacy of their users.
- Collaboration in the preparation of project reports and deliverables.
DEDICATION:
Full-time dedication, 37.5 hours/week. Salary according to the salary tables of the University of Valladolid: 22,070.64 € gross/year. Scheduled to start in March 2024.
