Offer Description
Are you interested in exploring cutting-edge research in Computer Vision and Machine Learning and the potential applications to Biometrics, Explainability, Security, and Media Forensics (among others)? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!
We are seeking 2 PostDoc students to join our Biometrics and Data Pattern Analytics Laboratory (BiDA-Lab). In our group, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced researchers such as Julian Fierrez, Javier Ortega-Garcia, Aythami Morales, Ruben Vera-Rodriguez and Ruben Tolosana, in addition to several international top colleagues in the field. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with our industry partners such as VERIDAS.

• PhD in ML/AI, Computer Vision, NLP, or Biometrics. Excellent publication record with at least some papers in top tier venues according to ELLIS guidelines (see: https://ellis.eu/members).
• Fluent English/Spanish communication skills (verbal and written).
• Solid understanding of Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.
• Good programming skills.
• Proactive, curiosity-driven, and committed to deliver by deadlines.
• Availability to travel for technical and scientific conferences, technical exhibitions.
