"Molecular characterization of skin melanomas for iToBoS project"

The project iToBoS, funded by the European community, aims at the development of new hardware for total-body imaging with dermoscopic quality and the development of an integrated AI assistant to help diagnosis. The research fellow will be involved in the acquisition of data from melanoma patients who will undergo total body imaging for iToBoS project. In this context, in addition to the clinical and genetic data collected for iToBoS project, molecular data related to the melanoma diffusion will be also collected by means of liquid biopsy analysis (in patients with melanoma stage ≥ III) and by means of molecular analysis from biomolecules obtained from the primary melanoma tissue melanoma with the aim at finding possible associations between these data and those proposed by the iToBoS project for a greater exploitation of the tool.
