Offer Description
The candidate's duties will include conducting research in the fields of molecular biology and genetics. Required qualifications to use specialized ddPCR equipment and the ability to analyze data. A biologist with experience in cell culture and biobanking. Competence to conduct research in the Department of Genetic Engineering and run a clinical biobank, passaging cells and preparing documentation confirming the team's competencies in the field of ISO 17025. The candidate should have theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of genetics and molecular biology methods (PCR, RT-PCR, ELISA, western-blot, flow cytometry), cell cultures, and microscopic techniques, e.g. phase contrast, SEM, CLSM. The candidate should have a very good knowledge of English. The candidate should be highly independent and creative, well organized, and highly motivated in scientific work.

Candidates are required to have:
- completed higher education with a Master's degree or equivalent;
- a PhD degree obtained no longer than 7 years ago (preferably in biology, biotechnology, or related);
- a scientific profile related to the specialization of biology confirmed by publications, and participation in the projects;
- knowledge and experience in molecular biology and genetics;
- knowledge in the field of cell culture techniques;
- experience in working in cleanroom laboratories will be an advantage;
- ability to present research results, good organization of work, communication skills;
- good knowledge of English in speech and writing, allowing for active participation in international scientific conferences, free work with English-language scientific literature, and submission of applications for grants, including international cooperation.
