(Just after hiring)The successful candidate will participate in the research project "Development of XR Remote Support System for Disaster Medical Response, Trauma Treatment, and Trauma Surgery" (research period: from November 7, 2023 to March 31, 2028, project leader: Prof. Atsushi Konno) supported by Acquisition, Technology & Logistics Agency.
XR (virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, etc.) and telemedicine using these technologies. In particular, the successful candidate will be responsible for research in one of the following areas: (1) physical simulation based on real-time finite element analysis, (2) 3D model generation of the environment and human body based on point clouds, meshes, and other geometry processing, (3) telemedicine support based on XR and telexistence, and (4) other fields providing new insights into telemedicine support system.
