Do you have multidisciplinary expertise, particularly in molecular and behavioral aspects, including knowledge of brain circuits and animal models of anxiety? In that case, we want you to join Estelle Barbier’s group at the Center for Social and Affective Neuroscience (CSAN) at Linköping University https://liu.se/en/research/csan/labs/the-barbier-lab

Our lab offers all commodities for state-of -the-art molecular biology and behavioral research. We offer an international, young research environment with regular seminars and invited guest speakers. The candidate will work closely with other lab members at CSAN.

Your tasks

The successful candidate will lead a project where we investigate the neural mechanisms underlying fear responses acquired through observation, known as vicarious or observational fear. You will be in charge of

  • Performing behavioral testing
