Graduate Teaching Assistant (must hold a Diploma/Master) for a 30-hour/week (part-time), four-year position at the Department of Many Particle Systems

Job Duties:
- Participation in teaching duties
- Participation in research projects
- Preparing and writing scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Independent scientific work on current problems in theoretical solid-state physics
- Developing ab-initio methods for calculations of static and dynamic properties of molecules on surfaces and at interfaces
- Developing ab-initio simulation programs for regular and nonregular non-collinear magnetic systems
Your Qualifications:
- Strong command of German and English (level B2+)
- The successful candidate must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree in theoretical physics
- Experience with quantum many-body theories, solid-state physics and magnetism
- Experience in teaching duties in theoretical physics
- Computer programming of numerical methods
