Job description:
You have the following tasks:
- Characterization of shape memory films (structure, mechanical, thermal)
- Modelling, design and simulation of bistable actuator devices (FEM multiphysics, lumped element modelling)
- Development of fabrication processes (electron beam lithography, PVD, RIE, wet-chemical etching)
- Fabrication and characterization of demonstrator variants in a scanning electron microscope
- Simulation-based design optimization
The activity offers the opportunity for a part-time doctorate.
