Offer Description
Applications are open for 1 Research Studentship(s), within the framework of project/R&D institution (1801P.00972.1.01) CEG-IST UIDP/00097/2020 - IST-ID, financed by national funds through FCT/MCTES (PIDDAC)
Workplan:
- Statistical analysis of the results of a survey on organic waste collection practices with writing an article for submission.
- Carrying out life cycle analyzes of different logistical waste collection systems with real data for strategic recommendations for the sector.
- Writing a scientific article about this work.
Duration: The research fellowship(s) will have the duration of 6 months. It’s expected to begin in April 2024, and may be eventually renewed until the end of the project.

Additional Information
Monthly maintenance allowance: According to the values for Research Fellowships awarded by FCT in Portugal (https://www.fct.pt/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Tabela-de-Valores-SMM_atualizacao-2024.pdf), the amount of the monthly maintenance allowance is € €1259,64, being the payment method an option of the Fellow by Wire Transfer/Check.
Admission Requirements:

c) Advanced knowledge of SimaPro software;
Selection methods: The selection methods will be the following: Curriculum evaluation and individual interview, with the respective weight of 70% - curriculum evaluation and 30% - individual interview.
Composition of the selection Jury: Ana Isabel Cerqueira de Sousa Gouveia Carvalho, Tânia Rodrigues Pereira Ramos, Tânia Rute Xavier de Matos Pinto-Varela.
Announcement/ notification of the results: The final evaluation results will be communicated to all applicants by email.
Deadlines and procedures of complaint and appeal. A complaint may be lodged from the final decision within 15 working days, or an appeal to the Executive Board of IST-ID within 30 working days, both counted from the respective notification
