Offer Description
The recruited person will contribute to strengthening unity in the field of ecological management of invasive alien species in wetlands
Collect, process and analyze field data to understand the impact of intensive mowing of an invasive exotic plant species with the aim of depleting the species; Contribute to the unit's fundamental research projects on a better understanding of the ecophysiology of the species and its response to the different environmental factors to which it is subjected (ages, harvest locations, abiotic and biotic stresses on the dynamics of the species) Establish correlations between field data and physicochemical analyzes of samples Establish comparative life cycle analyzes Supervise an ENSCM intern in sustainable development Contribute to the promotion of the unit's scientific activities at all levels of communication ( technical and general public); Write end-of-project reports and restitution documents; Exercise strategic monitoring of calls for tenders and research programs in the field; be a source of proposals for the drafting of targeted projects.
As part of a tripartite collaboration program and the creation of a joint CNRS laboratory, the Bio-inspired Chemistry and Ecological Innovations laboratory (ChimEco-UMR 5021 CNRS-University of Montpellier) is recruiting a full-time researcher (e) specialized in plant ecology.
