Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Assistant within UCD School of Agriculture & Food Science.
The Nutritional Metabolomic Research Group led by Prof. Lorraine Brennan is seeking a Research Assistant to assist researchers across a number of funded research projects such as the Health Research Board (HRB) US-Ireland funded project `Food based biomarkers, diet quality and cardiometabolic health'. The successful candidate should have a background in human nutrition or related field and experience supporting the implementation of human nutrition intervention studies. The candidate should have experience and knowledge in assessing dietary intake.
The successful candidate should also have experience reviewing nutrition literature, writing scientific documents and good writing skills in general. They will also need to prepare reports and present results at project meetings. The candidate will need to able to work as part of a team but also independently. This position is an excellent opportunity to join a multidisciplinary research team. )
Salary Range: €30,026 - 39,908 per annum
Appointment on the above range will be dependent on qualifications and experience
