Offer Description

The post-doctoral researcher will work in the DUPREZ team on developmental programs and the regionalization of connective tissues to understand the establishment of the muscular system. The research program will use classic developmental biology techniques coupled with transcriptomic analyses at the single-cell level to identify fibroblast populations and the regulators for their differentiation.

Analysis of single-cell transcriptomic data
Functional experiments in cell culture
Functional experiments in the chicken embryo (electroporation)
Writing regular reports of experimental results, and presenting the results to the research team during laboratory meetings
Formatting and writing results in English for publication in a scientific journal

The recruited person will carry out its activity in the Developmental Biology Laboratory (LBD), located within Sorbonne University located on the Jussieu campus, in Paris.
The Developmental Biology Laboratory (LBD, UMR7622) brings together 16 teams working in the field of Developmental Biology and is part of the Paris-Seine Institute of Biology (IBPS) which brings together around 600 people working in the fields of Biology Development, Neuroscience, Biological Adaptation and Aging, Quantitative and Computational Biology and the Physics/Biology interface. The laboratory is located on the Jussieu Campus in the middle of the 5th arrondissement. The UMR7622 is supported by Sorbonne University, CNRS and Inserm.
The recruited person will work in Delphine Duprez's team “Coordinated development of muscle and associated connective tissues”. The work context is located within the framework of several ANRs obtained by Delphine Duprez on the development of skeletal muscle.
