Offer Description
As part of ANR funding following a CPJ, the missions will consist of synthesizing and studying active redox spin transition compounds using light as an external stimulus.
-synthesis of organic ligands and coordination complexes
-study of properties under light for electron transfer
-application in catalysis of electron transfer
Spin transition compounds that can reversibly switch between a high spin state and a diamagnetic and paramagnetic state are particularly promising for electronics/electrical applications. However, the insulating nature of the organic ligands of these compounds limits their use for practical applications. Thus, this ambitious project aims to i) synthesize new conductive spin transition compounds and ii) integrate them into electrical devices.
