Offer Description

Work for Safety Engineering and Civil Protection Faculty, in particular:

  • teaching full-time and part-time courses, with a full adjunct salary of 360 h in the field of medical emergency medicine (including subjects: Medical emergency activities, Pre-hospital emergency procedures, Intra-hospital emergency procedures, Basic medical procedures, Techniques of medical procedures);
  • co-organising conferences, seminars related to emergency medicine and the University's activity profile;
  • participation in organisational activities of the Faculty and the University;
  • improving qualifications;
  • cooperation with other organisational units of the University;
  • cooperation in the preparation of project proposals and implementation of research and teaching projects;
  • conducting publication activities.

Required documents:

  • application for employment;
  • CV (including academic experience, publication list and data determined by a personal questionnaire);
  • personal questionnaire of an applicant, acceptation of information clause contained in the competition notice;
  • declaration of the possibility of working at SGSP as the primary workplace in accordance with the provisions of Act Law on Higher Education and Science (Dz. U. 2022, poz. 574);
  • declaration of compliance with the conditions specified in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science, (Dz. U. 2023, poz. 742) according to the formula set out in the appendix;
  • consent to the processing of personal data provided voluntarily by the applicant in the documents submitted for the recruitment process (i.e. data other than defined in the Art.221 § 1 of the Labor Code).

  • possession of a doctor degree in the discipline of health sciences or medical sciences;
  • experience in working with students - professional experience: minimum of2 years of work experience as an academic teacher
  • ability to work in a team;
  • professional experience of at least 3 years in units of the National Medical Rescue System;
  • availability (working at weekends);
  • professional skills: very good skills in English (speaking and writing), designing and conducting experiments for research purposes (especially planning field and laboratory research in the field medical sciences, health sciences), publishing the obtained results, creating research teams, the ability to establish contacts and cooperate outside the unit;

A set of documents in a closed envelope should be submitted personally to Human Resources Department of Fire University till 02/04/2024, or via post (the date  of receipt and registration is decisive, not the date of the postmark) on address:

Despite the method of documents delivery, the envelope should have such information as:“Name and Surname, address and note: „adiunkt-RM”.  

Documents submitted after the deadline will not be reviewed.

We will contact only selected candidates. They will be informed about the date and manner of conducting the next step of a qualifying procedure.

A lack of information about the competition results will mean the rejection of the application.

We will not send back received documents (rejected offers will be destroyed). Fire University does not provide housing.

The settlement of the competition does not result in the employment.

The decision on employment is taken by the Rector-Commandant.

Fire Universityreserves the right to close the competition without resolving.

  3. Your personal data will be processed in order to carry out the recruitment process for work at Fire University based on art. 6 par. 1 let. c RODO in conjunction with art. 221 § 1 of the Labor Code, and on the basis of art. 6 par. 1 let. a RODO.
  4. The recipient of your personal data is - there are no recipients.
  5. Your personal data will not be transferred to the third country or international organization.
  6. Your personal data will be stored until the recruitment process is completed.
  7. You have the right to request access to the content of your data, the right to rectify it, remove or limit processing, object to processing, and the right to transfer data.
  8. With regard to the processing of personal data on the basis of your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent for processing at any time without affecting the legality of the processing which was carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal.
  9. You have the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory body - the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, if you believe that the processing violates the provisions of the RODO.
  10. Providing by you personal data referred to in art. 221 § 1 of the Labor Code is a statutory requirement. You are obliged to provide them, and the consequence of not providing personal data will be the inability to participate in the recruitment process. You are not required to provide any personal data other than those specified in art. 221 § 1 of the Labor Code.
  11. The processing of personal data provided by you will not be subject to automated decision making, including profiling as referred to in art. 22 para. 1 and 4 RODO.
